The ‘Tokala’ Wreath

from £105.00
sold out

The ‘Tokala’ wreath was inspired by the ancestral history of the Native American peoples who lived as nomadic hunter and gatherers. Meaning fox, it is a tribute to the naming traditions used by Native Americans who gave names derived from nature such as an animal, often symbolising desirable characteristics or giving an insight into the personality of the person who possessed it.

Each wreath is handmade using ingredients grown in our cutting garden in Cambridge as well as ingredients from other UK flower farms. The base is bound with Norfolk sea-lavender. Splashes of burnt oranges and yellows from helichrysum and Chinese lantern pods are contrasted with the blues of eryngium and dyed bunny’s tail grass. Your wreath comes beautifully wrapped in a box and includes a wire tie to hang it. When hanging your wreath, we recommend finding a sheltered position away from damp or excess heat to keep it looking its best.

Dimensions: medium approximately 45cm across / large approximately 65cm across.

Each wreath is handmade to order, so minor variations are present in each wreath. Please allow 10 days for shipment. If you need your wreath sooner, please get it touch. Wreaths can be collected from Pepys Cottage in Cambridge or will otherwise be shipped via special delivery. We regret that we are not currently able to ship to destinations outside of the UK.
